Applications:

YMCH terpolymer resin can be applied in many industries, the details are included as the following:

plastic and metal overprinting varnish, metal corrosion resistant coating, maintenance paint, repair paint, vessel and marine lacquer, rolling material coating, spray paint for plastic shell, interlamination coating, can coating, aluminium foil varnish, electronic-chemical aluminum coating,  UV surface treatment agent, UV primer etc;

heat-transfer printing gum, PTP aluminum foil glue(VC glue), glue for covering steel sheet with film, PVC glue, glue for row nails, glue for shoe materials;

silk-screen printing ink, transfer printing ink.

 

Stability:

YMCH resin has excellent light and heat stability, but when it is used outdoors or at higher temperature, the following stabilizers are suggested to use with it, such as organotin stabilizer without sulphur, epoxy compound stabilizers and light resistant ultraviolet stabilizer.

 

Solubility: 

Ketone are specially suitable solvents for YMCH type of terpolymer resin, such as ace-tone, MEK, nadone and isophorone.

Compared with ketone solvents, ester solvents have lower solubility for YMCH resin, such as methyl acetate, ethyl acetate and butyl acetate etc. Therefore, we need to heat the solution or add ketone solvent into the solution while YMCH resin is dissolved in ester solvents.

Chlorohydrocarbons, Nitro compound and alicyclic solvents, such as dichloroethane and diethylene oxide, also can dissolve YMCH terpolymer resin, but these kinds of solvent are toxic, they are only used in special situation.

 

Compatibility:

YMCH terpolymer resin is miscible with other resins during the course of usage, such as other types of vinyl chloride vinyl acetate copolymer, PVC resin, perchloro-ethylene resin, ketone resins, chloroprene rubber, NBR, polyacrylate, epoxy resin, polyester and petroleum resin etc.

 

Storage:

YMCH resin should be stored in dry place away from sunlight. 

Should YMCH resin have been kept over the shelf time, it shouldn’t mean the resin is invalid, but the user has to test the relevant properties of YMCH resin and its finished product before using it in bulk.

 

Packaging and 

YMCH resin is usually packaged into the craft paper-plastic composite bag lined with plastic film according to 25Kgs per bag.
