Applications:
DAGD resin is extensively applied in marine overprinting varnish, common metal overprinting varnish, corrosion resistant coating for vessel and marine, lacquer for machinery shell, industrial maintenance paint, plastic lacquer, can coating, leather coating, interlamination adhesive, magnetic tape adhesive, gravure printing ink for recombination, high grade PU wood paint, metal paint etc.
Property:
DAGD resin is white or yellowish powder,ketone soluble with colorless,transparent solution and has excellent adhesion on PET,resin primer,paper,PVC,ABS pre-treatment of PE and OPP.It is often used with other film-forming material in order to improve the coating performance,and enhance paint adhesion,flexibility,tenacity,hardness and chemical resistance.The hydroxyl functional group permits crosslinking reactions for thermoset,obtaining excellent chemical and water resistance.
Solubility & Compatibility:
For DAGD resin, ketone solvents are specially suited, such as ace-tone, MEK, nadone and isophorone.
Compared with ketone solvents, ester solvents have lower solubility for DAGD resin, such as methyl acetate, ethyl acetate and butyl acetate etc.
For DAGD resin, lower molecular weight is helpful for increasing the solubility of resin and solid content of solution.
DAGD terpolymer resin is miscible with other resins during the course of usage, such as other types of vinyl chloride vinyl acetate copolymer, PVC resin, perchloro-ethylene resin, ketone resins, chloroprene rubber, NBR, polyacrylate, epoxy resin, polyester and petroleum resin etc.
Packaging and Storage:
In kraft bag, lined with pp bags of 25kgs net, with PE inner bag.
Stored in a dry and ventilated place, do not place in open-air, avoid storage in direct sunlight and caution against wet.
Must be transported in clean vehicle with awning and keep away from moisture.
It is not hazardous article, and the shelf life is one year from the delivery date.
