Applications:
DAGH resin can be used for a wide range of coatings applications,including marine anti-corrosion paint, gravure printing inks,chassis paints, maintenance,PU and wood finishes(wood coatings),paper coatings,PET inks interbedded adhesive,adhesive for magnetic tape and carbon ribbon etc.
Property:
The excellent carrier of pigment used in the inks and coatings, excellent adhesion, used with other film-forming materials to improve the properties of coating, and strengthen adhesion, flexibility, toughness, hardness, chemical resistance etc.
DAGH type of resin can implement cross linking reaction with thermosetting resins (e.g. Isocyanate), the formed film has the following excellences, such as bright, hard and tough, wear resistant, scratch resistant, water resistant and chemical resistant etc.
Solubility & Compatibility:
For DAGH resin, ketone solvents are specially suited, such as ace-tone, MEK, nadone and isophorone. Compared with ketone solvents, ester solvents have lower solubility for DAGH type of resin, such as methyl acetate, ethyl acetate and butyl acetate etc. Therefore, we need to heat the solution or add ketone solvents into the solution while DAGH type of resin is dissolved in ester solvents.
For DAGH resin, lower molecular weight is helpful for increasing the solubility of resin and solid content of solution.
DAGH type of terpolymer is miscible with other resins during the course of usage, such as other types of vinyl chloride vinyl acetate copolymer, PVC resin, perchloro-ethylene resin, ketone resins, chloroprene rubber, NBR, polyacrylate, epoxy resin, polyester and petroleum resin etc.
Packaging and Storage:
Packed in kraft bag, lined with pp bags of 25kgs net.
Stored in a dry and ventilated place, do not place in open-air, avoid storage in direct sunlight and caution against wet.
Must be in clean vehicle with awning and keep away from moisture during transportation.
It is not hazardous article, and the shelf life is one year from the production date.
