Applications:
Primarily used for air-dry finishes, such as maintenance, marine and metal coatings, aluminum foil varnish,cans sealed paint,shoe adhesive,floor paint,cement paint,silk screen printing and transfer ink.
And it is often used in the production of heat sealing packaging coatings, can effectively reduce the heat sealing temperature, raise the heat sealing strength.
It also can be used to produce the VC sealing plastic package, Electro-chemical aluminum paint, thermal transfer adhesive.
Solubility:
For YMCH resin, ketone solvents are specially suitable, such as ace-tone, MEK, nadone and isophorone.
Compared with ketone solvents, ester solvents have lower solubility for YMCH resin, such as methyl acetate, ethyl acetate and butyl acetate etc. Thus, we have to heat the solution or add ketone solvent into the solution while YMCH resin is dissolved in ester solvents.
Chlorohydrocarbons, Nitro compound and alicyclic solvents, such as dichloroethane and diethylene oxide, also can dissolve YMCH terpolymer resin, but these kinds of solvent are toxic, they are only used in special situation.
Compatibility:
YMCH resin is miscible with other resins during the course of using, such as other types of vinyl chloride vinyl acetate copolymer, PVC resin, perchloro-ethylene resin, ketone resins, chloroprene rubber, NBR, polyacrylate, epoxy resin, polyester and petroleum resin etc.
Stability:
YMCH resin has excellent light and heat stability, but when it is used outdoors or at higher temperature, the following stabilizers are suggested to use with it, such as organotin stabilizer without sulphur, epoxy compound stabilizers and light resistant ultraviolet stabilizer.
Packaging and Storage:
In kraft bag, lined with pp bags of 25kgs net, with PE inner bag.
Stored in a dry and ventilated place, do not place in open-air, avoid storage in direct sunlight and caution against wet.
Must be transported in clean vehicle with awning and keep away from moisture.
It is NOT hazardous article, and the shelf life is one year from the delivery date.
