Power Over Ethernet refers to the existing Ethernet Cat.5 cabling infrastructure without any changes in the circumstances, for some IP-based terminals (such as IP phones, wireless LAN access points AP, network cameras Etc.) to transmit data signals at the same time, but also for such equipment to provide DC power supply technology.

POE two power supply methods :

• Mid -Span ( Using a stand-alone PoE powered device, spanning between the switch and the PoE-enabled terminal device, typically uses an unused idle pair of Ethernet cables to carry direct current )
• End-Span  ( It is the power supply equipment integrated in the switch signal exit, such an integrated connection generally provides Idle line and data line pairs "dual" power supply.)
