1)DTY is manufactured by twisting and drawing Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) in texturising machines.DTY is used both in weaving and knitting.

2)DTY is suitable for many different end uses such as clothes, outer garments, inner garments, home furnishings, upholstery, seat covers, bags. DTY is considered as a replacement for cotton and cotton blend yarns with low moisture content.

3) DTY offers a cotton-like feel, high durability and retention. DTY can be dull, semi-dull or bright depending on the filament sections.

4)DTY technology is usually applied on polyester and nylon. Therefore polyester DTY nylon DTY are the most frequent yarn types. Polyester DTY is a continuous filament yarn. In order to obtain polyester DTY, Polyester yarn can be textured by heat setting in a twisted condition.

DTY can be alone or together with other fiber to go through the process

of water-jet and dealt by the shuttle machines, non-shuttle machines and knitting

machines and finished as different fabric.
