Overview

The pore structure of rocks is extremely complex. In order to quantitatively study the pore structure of rocks, people use different methods to measure and draw the capillary pressure curve of rocks, and study the pore structure characteristic parameters of rock samples based on the capillary pressure curve.

This high-pressure pore structure analyzer (commonly known as mercury intrusion porosimeter) uses the mercury intrusion method to measure the capillary pressure curve. Its main function is to inject mercury (non wet phase) into the pores of rock samples at different set pressures, measure and record the corresponding relationship between pressure and the volume of mercury injected into the rock samples, and then draw the capillary pressure curve to determine the pore structure characteristic parameters of the rock samples.
