rod chrome thickness  : 30  to  100 microns

optimal value  is 50  microns.

chrome quality and hardness is critically important , we checked every  month.

rod diameter control : if the measure value is out of tolerance by more than 0.02mm, reject.

rod roughness is Ra 0.09-0.16 

if more than Ra0.3, reject.

centrol length of this rod , if out of tolerance by more than 1.5mm.  reject.

barrel  ID roughness is about Ra 0.25, if surface value is more than 0.5, reject.

cushion sleeve ---hardness should be 55-60 HRC.

if lower than 45 HRC, reject

Test before packing :

At least 10 miuntes of test is required for each cylinder.

And the testing pressure can not be lower than  working pressure.

During testing, the extension and retraction of the rod should be smooth, the chrome surface of the rod should be inspected for any mark or scratch, which are not acceptable.

Be aware of the piston with thread,  tighten torque is important for the safety of the hydraulic cylinder.

always apply required torque value.
