Application instructions for the 4th generation products of RECS - XXX series electronic centrifugal switches.
The setting of the motor’s disconnecting rotating speed (namely, the setting of RECS series electronic centrifugal switch):
Please ensure that the electronic centrifugal switch is connected properly, the details of which are shown in the above corresponding wiring diagram of an electronic centrifugal switch;
Please make sure that the motor is provided with the rated voltage and rated frequency, which shall conform to the chosen voltage range of the electronic centrifugal switch;
Please make sure that the pressure drop when the motor starts is not over 5% (it is better to use a high-power variable-frequency power source);
Please make sure that the motor has no load;
Power the motor on to run it for 5 seconds to complete the setting (which means the electronic centrifugal switch can automatically read the electrical parameters of the motor, set the motor’s disconnecting rotating speed at about 75%, and save it permanently). During the setting process, it is normal that the motor vibrates obviously. Please do not power it off;
After the above setting process is finished, the motor can be used normally;
Considerations:
*** Please remember that the electronic centrifugal switch shall be operated as per the above setting steps for the first time it is powered on;
*** Please neither use the switch having been set properly in different motors nor change parameters of a motor on which a switch has been set properly, it will cause bad switch actions;
*** As for a switch having been set properly if the parameters of the motor are changed or the switch needs to be used in another motor, the disconnecting rotating speed of another motor shall be set as per the above setting steps after the data in the switch are removed (please refer to the removal of electronic centrifugal switch data for details).
