40mm 45mm 60mm Fiber Optic Splice Protection Fusion-Protection Sleeves Heat Shrink Tube​

Fiber Optic Protection Sleeves Heat Shrinkable Tube:

- Fiber Optic Protection Sleeves Heat Shrinkable Tube is used for protecting and supporting the fusion splice point.

- Single fiber to maximum 12 fibers protection sleeves are available from us.

- The outer jacket of the sleeve is made of polyolefin while the inner tube is made of EVA. The minimum shrinking temperature is 100°C.

- The  Fiber Optic Protection Tube Heat Shrinkable Tube length have: 20mm, 40mm, 45mm and 60mm

- These specially designed protector sleeves provide a way to support and protect a fiber optic fusion splice. As the sleeve is somewhat rigid it does help provide some protection to the splice area.

- The protector sleeves themselves are easy to install which means the potential for damage to the splice is minimal.

- The splice sleeves are heat shrinkable. Once the fusion splicing has taken place and alignment is correct, heat is applied and the sleeve shrinks to provide environmental protection to the splice.

- The Fiber Optic Protection Tube Heat Shrinkable Tube is applied to the optical fiber closure to fix and protect the optical fiber when splicing.

- The Fiber Optic Protection Tube Heat Shrinkable Tube can be divided into two types (single and mass) according to the function. The single type is used for the single-fiber, and the mass type is used for the ribbon fiber. It is different in the reinforcement between two types. The single one realizes the reinforcement by the stainless steel needles, the later one via the ceramic reinforcement member to realize the function.

Mass means there are several cores for the fiber. So the mass sleeve includes 4cores, 6cores, 8cores, 12cores (for types).
