- MPO-32 MTP-32 connector is an ultra-high-density fiber optic connector that bundles 32 individual fiber strands inside a single compact plug.
- MPO-32 MTP-32 connector uses an offset keyway positioned to the left. This design physical layout usually features two rows of 16 fibers packed into one ferrule.
- The MPO-32 MTP-32 trunk cables are available in Type A, Type B, or Type C configurations to maintain correct transmit-to-receive paths across network devices.
- The MPO-32 MTP-32 trunk cable use for High-Speed Network Backbones, it provides the main infrastructure for 400G and 800G data center networks. They are essential components for the transition into next-generation 1.6T speeds.

MPO MTP Trunk Cable Polarity Type A, Type B, Type C
- Type A (Straight-Through) Fiber Mapping: Fiber 1 goes to Fiber 1, Fiber 2 goes to Fiber 2, and Fiber 32 goes to Fiber 32. Features a Key-Up connector on one end and a Key-Down connector on the other. Used mostly in standard cassette-based systems. Because the cable does not flip the signal, the duplex crossover is typically handled inside the cassettes.
- Type B (Reversed) Fiber Mapping: The entire fiber array is flipped. Fiber 1 goes to Fiber 32, Fiber 2 goes to Fiber 31, and Fiber 32 goes to Fiber 1. Features a Key-Up connector on both ends of the cable. Recommended for direct transceiver-to-transceiver parallel optics. It is commonly deployed for 40G, 100G, and 400G networks (like SR4 and DR4 connections). Note: Standard Type B orientation is physically incompatible with Angled Physical Contact (APC) single-mode connectors unless specifically engineered otherwise.
- Type C (Pair-Flipped) Fiber Mapping: Adjacent pairs of fibers are flipped throughout the cable. Fiber 1 goes to Position 2, Fiber 2 goes to Position 1, Fiber 3 goes to Position 4, and so on. Features a Key-Up connector on one end and a Key-Down connector on the other. Primarily used in multi-row backbone networks that break down into legacy duplex LC or SC systems. It is becoming less common in newer, ultra-high-speed network designs.
