24fo MMF OM4 50/125 Loose Tube Duct Underground Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable GYTA Armored Fiber Optic Cable
The 24-fiber MMF OM4 50/125 GYTA Loose Tube Armored Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable is an outdoor, aluminum-armored fiber optic cable utilizing OM4 laser-optimized multimode fiber (50/125µm). It is specifically designed for high-speed duct, direct burial, and aerial installations.
GYTA cable features a stranded loose tube construction with a compact structure and a durable polyethylene (PE) outer jacket. The high-strength loose tube is hydrolysis-resistant, and the cable filling materials ensure high reliability. The Aluminum-Polyethylene (APL) armor makes the cable crush-resistant and moisture-proof. The cable capacity supports up to 96 fibers.
The name GYTA follows a standard industry code that describes the cable's construction:
GY: Outdoor communications cable (general use for duct, underground, and pipeline applications).
TA: Aluminum-polyethylene tape (APL) armored with a PE outer sheath, offering moisture resistance and crush protection.
Loose Tube Design: Fibers sit inside gel-filled plastic tubes twisted around a central metallic strength member to protect against water and stress.
- Multi-mode OM4 fiber (50/125µm)
- Special design to prevent loose tube shrinking
- Crush resistance, water blocking, and flexibility
- Good mechanical and temperature performance
- PE sheath protects cable from ultraviolet radiation
- High-strength loose tube that is hydrolysis resistant
