Fiber Optic Protection Sleeves Overview
Fiber protection sleeves are designed to protect and support fusion splice points. Available in single fiber to 12-fiber configurations, these sleeves feature a polyolefin outer jacket and EVA inner tube with a minimum shrinking temperature of 100°C.
Product Description
Shrinkable sleeves are used in optical fiber closures to fix and protect spliced fibers. Available in two types: single type for individual fibers (reinforced with stainless steel needles) and mass type for ribbon fibers (reinforced with ceramic members). Mass sleeves come in 4, 6, 8, and 12-core configurations.
