Electrode Replacement Procedure

Ensure the welding machine is powered off, remove the electrode chamber protection cover, loosen the fixing screw, and carefully remove the electrodes
Loosen the top electrode screw and remove the electrode assembly
Install the new electrode following the reverse procedure of removal
Maintain electrode tip clearance at 2.6 ± 0.2 mm for optimal performance

Important: Avoid touching electrode tips during assembly to prevent damage. Always perform arc position calibration after electrode replacement.

Electrode Cleaning and Arc Calibration

After electrode installation, power on the welding machine
Access the main menu from the initial screen
Navigate to machine maintenance and select electrode cleaning - the machine will automatically perform discharge cleaning and electrode aging
Install chopped fiber left/right, locate arc position, and align fiber end face with electrode tips in a three-point line configuration
The machine will perform discharge testing - adjust as needed based on actual conditions
Exit menu following the proper sequence
