Product Overview
Blockless 2x2 Fiber Optic PLC Splitter with SC/APC or LC/APC Green Connector, 900µm, 1.5m LSZH jacket. This PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) splitter is an optical power management device fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology for distributing optical signals from Central Office (CO) to multiple premise locations.
Technology
Based on semiconductor technology, PLC splitters are manufactured using planar waveguide circuit technology. The design consists of one optical PLC chip and several optical arrays depending on the output ratio, coupled on both ends of the PLC splitter chip.
