The SC multimode fiber optic fast connector are factory pre-polished, field-installable connectors that completely eliminate the need for hand polishing in the field. These connectors make fiber terminations quick, easy and reliable, offering terminations without any hassles and requiring no epoxy, no polishing, no splicing, and no heating while achieving excellent transmission parameters comparable to standard polishing and splicing technology.
Our fast connector significantly reduces assembly and setup time. It features proven mechanical splice technology for precision fiber alignment, a factory pre-cleaved fiber stub, and proprietary index-matching gel to provide immediate low loss termination for both single-mode and multimode optical fibers. These pre-polished connectors are primarily used in FTTH cable installations for FTH projects at end-user sites.
