Low absorption allows this radiation to penetrate into skin as deep as 4mm and to reach hair bulbs at different depths practically regardless of skin's complexion .  The possibility to adjust pulse duration from 5 up to 40ms and to control the shape of pulses with microprocessor by setting the combinations of their duration , form and repetition rate gives additional benefits to the doctor since it allows achieving selective destructiion of hair follicles of any type with a minimal heating of superficail skin layers .
