Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of column load cell FFA is normally around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of cylindrical load cell FFA is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of flange force sensor FFA is normally within 0-30mV(-30mV...+30mV for tension and compression force measurement).
A load cell amplifier can be used to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output. Example: Cylindrical compression load cell FFA-50kg working with -5-5V amplifier,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-50kg compression load VS 0-5V output, 0-50kg tension load VS 0-(-5V) output which is linear. When you get 5V output,it means the current load is 50kg compression force,when you get -3V output,it means the current load is 30kg tension load,and so on.
