Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of flange load cell FFA is normally around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of flanged force sensor FFA is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of flange force transducer FFA is normally within -30mV...+30mV for tension and compression force measurement.
Example one: Flanged Mounted Load Cell FFA-2kN with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output range is -20mV...+20mV.
Example two: Tension and Compression Load Cell FFA-5kN with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is -10mV...+10mV.

A load cell amplifier can be used to convert mV signal into -5-5V , 0-10V, 4-20mA.

Example: Flange Load Cell FFA-1kN working with -10-10V amplifier,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-1kN compression load VS 0-10V output, 0-1kN tension load VS 0-(-10V) output,when you get 5V output,it means the current load is 500N compression force,when you get -5V output,it means the current load is 500N tension force,and so on.
