A Force Sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical load into mV signal proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the transducer.

Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of flange type press load cell FFG is around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of miniature press force load cell FFG is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of flange mounted push force transducer FFG is normally within -30mV...+30mV for pull and push force measurement.
Example one: Press Force Sensor FFG-50N with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is -10mV...+10mV(Pull and Push).
Example two: Pull And Push Load Cell FFG-100N with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output range is -20mV...+20mV(Tension and compression).

A signal conditioner can be used with the load cell to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.

Example: Press Force Load Cell FFG-200N working with -10-10V amplifier,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-200N compression load VS 0-10V output, 0-200N tension load VS 0-(-10V) output, which is linear regardless of the measurement error.
