The blades of this type of impeller have covers at both ends, and the flow channel is closed. It is mostly used for transporting high head and relatively clean media. It has high efficiency, but the manufacturing process is more difficult. Generally, the number of blades in centrifugal pump impellers ranges from 6 to 12. However, the number of blades is not necessarily the more the better, as too many blades will cause problems such as increased fluid flow velocity, excessive blade friction, and deterioration of the impeller's cavitation resistance. In terms of material, common options include cast iron, cast copper, stainless steel, etc. If transporting corrosive fluid media, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel materials or plastic materials can be used for the impeller.
