How to Install Truck Seat Air Bag
1. Prepare the necessary tools and equipment, including jack stands, floor jacks, a set of socket wrenches and new cab shock absorbers.
2. Use a socket wrench to remove the old shock absorber.
3. Install the new shock absorbers, making sure they are properly aligned with the mounting brackets.
4. Use a torque wrench to tighten the bolt or nut to the manufacturer's recommended torque specification.
5. Test the shock absorbers by compressing and extending the cab and seeing how the shock absorbers respond.
Shock absorbers are usually replaced in pairs for balance and stability, so it is best to replace both shock absorbers on the same axle at the same time.
Also, be sure to wear safety goggles and follow proper safety precautions when working under a vehicle (such as with a jack stand) to prevent serious injury.
