- Make sure you have all the necessary tools and equipment, including jack stands, hydraulic jacks, wrenches and sockets.
- Park the trailer on level ground and apply the emergency brakes.
- Use the jack to lift the trailer and place it on the jack stand.
- Remove the wheels from the trailer by loosening the lug nuts and lifting them up using a hydraulic jack.
- Locate the existing suspension on the trailer and follow the manufacturer's instructions to remove it.
- Install the new air spring in place of the old suspension component, referring to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Adjust the air pressure in the air spring to the manufacturer's recommended level.
- Reinstall the wheels and put the trailer back on the ground.
- Test the new air spring by properly loading the trailer and seeing how it responds to the weight
Kind Tips
Do not inflate components when unrestricted. Assemblies must be restrained by suspensions or other suitable structures. Do not inflate beyond the pressure recommended in the design literature. Improper use or overinflation may cause the assembly to burst, resulting in property damage or serious personal injury.
