How to Replace an Industrial Air Spring
- Before installing the industrial air spring, evenly apply the lubricant (tire lubricant) to the upper and lower bases of the spring to reduce the friction caused by installing the new industrial air spring, and at the same time protect the industrial air spring and its contact position from damage .
- Place the new industrial air spring on a dry flat surface, firmly hold both sides of the spring with both hands, and press down on the spring until the volume of the spring is enough to fit the "upper and lower base" range.
- When installing, combine the bottom of the industrial air spring with the lower base, and then adjust the top of the spring to enter the upper base; when the industrial air spring is basically located between the upper and lower bases, open the air pressure valve to inflate the spring; at the same time, Maintenance personnel need to stabilize the projectile with both hands to prevent excessive displacement.
- After inflating for 10 to 15 seconds, the industrial air spring is fully inflated. At this time, spray foam water on the elastic body, and carefully check whether the new industrial air spring is well sealed and whether the elastic body is damaged. If there is no problem, the installation will be completed and it can operate normally.
