How does this Air Spring Work?
An air spring is a component of a suspension system that works by adjusting the air pressure inside the airbag. When the air pressure inside the airbag increases, the airbag expands, increasing the height and stiffness of the suspension system. Conversely, when the air pressure inside the airbag decreases, the airbag contracts, decreasing the height and stiffness of the suspension system.
By adjusting the air pressure inside the airbag, the suspension effect of the truck can be changed as needed. For example, when the load is heavy, increasing the air pressure inside the airbag can increase the stiffness of the suspension system and make the truck more stable. When the load is light or a more comfortable ride is needed, reducing the air pressure inside the airbag can reduce the stiffness of the suspension system and provide a more comfortable suspension effect.
