What it Is
1. Structure
Triple Convoluted: Features three distinct "lobes" or "bellows" stacked vertically. This design provides a larger air volume and a more progressive spring rate compared to single or double convoluted bags.
Air Spring: A reinforced rubber bladder inflated with compressed air. Pressure adjusts the spring's stiffness and ride height.

How it Works on a Pickup
1. Installation: Mounted vertically between the truck's frame and the rear axle (or suspension mounting point). Common locations are directly above the axle or slightly inboard/outboard.
2. Air Supply: Connected via air lines to:
Manual Fill Kit: Simple schrader valves (like tire valves) for inflation/deflation using an external compressor or gas station pump.
On-Board Air System: Includes an electric compressor, air tank, pressure switches, and often in-cab controls for real-time adjustment while driving.
3. Adjustment: Air pressure is increased to support heavier loads and raise ride height. Pressure is decreased when unloaded for a softer ride.
