- Mark position and draw correct size on plasterboard
- Drill rough hole matching access panel dimensions
- Position access panel at rough hole location
- Install first fastener/screw, check alignment, then apply second screw
- Test door operation multiple times for flexibility
- Secure additional screws on frame, especially at corners
- Complete installation and close access panel
