321 stainless steel Hexmetal Mesh Refractory Lining
Stainless Steel 321 Hexmetal is a hexagon shaped grid used in the installation of thick linings. HESLY® Hexmetal supports the lining and prevents slumps. It retards erosion, corrosion, cracking, blistering, pitting or collapse thereby lengthening the life of the lining. Hexmetal is recommended for use when placement is spaced from the steel shell to allow room for thick insulation between the steel shell and the armored surface. The slots permit passage of the castable which forms a key between adjacent cells. Available in standard and lance pattern.

Hexsteel: Bonding Hole Type Instead of lance tabs, holes are punched through the walls of the hexmetal cell. Refractory can then flow through these holes to achieve a bond from one cell to another. |
Hex-metal: Pronges/Lances Type this style has lance tabs protruding from the walls of the hexagonal cell to act as anchorage for the refractory.

Application of HESLY Hex mesh:
Hex mesh is flexible and easily conforms to circular shapes, which allows it to be rolled. It is ideal for lining ducts, furnaces, reactor vessels, cyclones, flue gas lines and other high temperature equipment of virtually any shape or configuration.
Hex steel is put to use in many industries including power plants, chemical industry, cement plants, steel, petroleum, power generation and other large devices. Hex material can largely improve the heat erosion and abrasion resistance.
