Hex Steel (hex mesh) are sheets of mild/carbon or stainless steel made up of hexagonal cells that are punched & welded
together to form custom sheets to fit specific applications. Hex steel can be rolled to fit round vessels and are used in
conjunction with Monster Tabs, Flex Tabs, Corner Tabs. Hex steel is used in highly abrasive applications and are available
in many different heights based on the lining thickness.
Hesly China Metal Mesh can supply a wide range of hexagonal mesh to meet the needs of customers.
Standard qualities we can supply are AISI 304H, AISI316, AISI 410S and AISI 310S, however, upon request we can offer other materials.

Hexmetal: Bonding Hole Type Instead of lance tabs, holes are punched through the walls of the hexmetal cell. Refractory can then flow through these holes to achieve a bond from one cell to another. |
Hexmetal: Pronges/Lances Type this style has lance tabs protruding from the walls of the hexagonal cell to act as anchorage for the refractory.

Application of HESLY Hexmetal:
Hexmetal is flexible and easily conforms to circular shapes, which allows it to be rolled. It is ideal for lining ducts, furnaces, reactor vessels, cyclones, flue gas lines and other high temperature equipment of virtually any shape or configuration.
Hex steel is put to use in many industries including power plants, chemical industry, cement plants, steel, petroleum, power generation and other large devices. Hex material can largely improve the heat erosion and abrasion resistance.
