2. Is this housing suitable for hazardous or explosion-proof environments?
No, this model is not explosion-proof. For hazardous environments,

use metal housings like the CA21000 series which have CSA explosion-proof certification.

3. What environmental protection does this housing offer?
It is rated IP66 / NEMA 4X, providing dust-tight and

water-resistant protection suitable for harsh industrial environments.

4. What temperature range can this housing withstand?
Operating temperature range is –51 °C to +105 °C (–60 °F to +221 °F). 

It can tolerate short exposure to hot water or steam but continuous exposure to high heat may degrade materials.
