Q2: What is the probe’s measurement range and accuracy?
A2: The standard operating (“linear”) range is from approximately 0.25 mm (10 mils) to about 2.3 mm (90 mils),

 with full-scale output from −1V to −17V DC. Recommended gap setting is around 1.27 mm (50 mils) for radial vibration applications.

Q3: Can this model be used in high-temperature environments?
A3: While this specific model isn't the Extended Temperature Range (ETR) variant, Bently Nevada’s ETR versions support temperatures

up to approximately +218 °C for the probe and +260 °C for the cable. Standard versions typically handle up to +177 °C for the cable

and +177 °C for the probe tip. If your application needs that level of heat resistance, consider ordering the ETR option.

Q4: Is calibration or special matching required?
A4: No. All 3300 XL 8 mm system components are electrically and mechanically interchangeable,

so you don't need to bench‑calibrate or specially match probe, cable, and sensor pairs

—they’re plug‑and‑play compatible within the product family.
