1. What does PROXPAC XL mean?

It denotes a self-contained proximity probe assembly that combines an XL probe and Proximitor

 in a single thermoplastic housing—no separate Proximitor or extension cable required.

2. What is the sensing range and sensitivity?

The device has a linear range from 0.25 mm to ~2.3 mm (10–90 mils),

with a sensitivity of ~7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil) ±5%.

3. What operating voltage does it require?

It operates on –17.5 Vdc to –26 Vdc, consuming a maximum of 12 mA.

Operating above –23.5 V may reduce linear range.

4. How much cable can I run between the sensor and monitor?

Up to 305 m (1,000 ft) is supported within the DC–10 kHz frequency response.
