 signal (voltage or current) to produce a usable output proportional to the distance

 (gap) between the probe tip and the target surface (rotating shaft).

Q2: What does the suffix “X1” mean?
A: “X1” is a code used by Bently for that module’s total length and mounting option—often meaning

DIN-rail or modular mounting form rather than panel mount. 

Q3: What does the suffix “CN” mean?
A: The “CN” generally indicates that this module is built to include hazardous location

approvals such as ATEX / IECEx and the Chinese NEPSI marking

 for use in explosive atmospheres.

Q4: What might the “MOD 1450004-82” denote?
