Q1: What exactly does the model “330101‑00‑12‑90‑02‑00” signify?
A1: The “330101” is the base model for an 8 mm probe in the 3300 XL series. The subsequent numbers denote options: for example in similar

models: “‑00” group designation, “12” case/length option, “90” likely total length option (e.g., 9.0 metres), “02”

connector/cable variant, “00” agency/approval. While I didn’t locate a public sheet for exactly

“90‑02‑00” in the materials found, the pattern is consistent

with other 330101 variants.

Q2: What measurement range and performance can I expect?
A2: Performance depends on the probe size and system configuration. For the 3300 XL 8 mm system, the datasheet shows

typical linear range from about 0.25 mm up to ~2 mm (10 to ~80 mils) or more depending on target and

 gap. For radial vibration applications the precise gap, target size,

 and system setup will affect sensitivity.

Q3: Is this probe compatible with my existing 3300 or older 3000 series system?
A3: Yes, the 3300 XL series is designed for backward compatibility mechanically and electrically

with many older 3300 probes (5 mm or 8 mm) when used with compatible extension cable

and Proximitor.  However, mixing non‑XL and XL components may

reduce performance to the lower spec of

 the older system.
