Q1. What does the “330101” prefix mean?
A: The prefix “330101” identifies the probe model in the 3300 XL 8 mm series with 3/8-24 UNF thread and without armor. According to the datasheet ordering information, 330101 = 3/8-24 UNF thread without armor for 8 mm standard mount probes.

Q3. What linear measurement range can I expect from this probe/system?
A: For the 3300 XL 8 mm system, typical linear range begins at ~0.25 mm (10 mils) and goes up to ~2.3 mm (90 mils) for the

standard 5 m system (though your specific cable length and target conditions can affect this).

 Always check the keypad for your particular probe/cable/Proximitor

combination.

Q4. What target material and size does the spec assume?
A: The system accuracy/interchangeability specs assume calibration to an AISI 4140 steel target, 31 mm (1.2 in)

 diameter or larger (for 8 mm system). If a different material or geometry

is used, performance may deviate.
