Non-contact measurement

• Uses eddy-current (proximity) sensing to measure shaft position and vibration without physically touching the rotating part.

• Enables a relatively long linear measurement range and is mechanically robust.

High-frequency response

• Capable of dynamic vibration measurement (up to ~8 kHz system spec), suitable for high-speed machinery. 

Sealed / Fluid-resistant cable

• The “FluidLoc” cable variant helps prevent oil or fluid migration along the cable — useful in lubricated bearing environments.

Axial (thrust) position measurement on turbines — because the 11 mm probe can comfortably measure larger gaps / movements.

Differential expansion measurements in steam turbines (ramp-up, ramp-down) — where shafts expand/contract.

Rod position / rod drop in reciprocating compressors — monitoring position of the compressor rods.

Keyphasor / phase reference signals — using the probe as a position or zero-speed reference.

Tachometer / zero-speed measurement — particularly in large machines where non-contact robust measurement is needed.
