Q2: What is the correct mounting gap for this probe?
A: Probe mounting gap depends on target surface geometry and application, but typical for 8 mm eddy‑current probes is

 about 0.25 mm to 0.5 mm (10‑20 mils) from the target surface. You should follow the OEM installation

guide for the 3300 XL system, ensuring the probe tip is correctly oriented, secured, and
