The Bently Nevada 330901-10-40-10-02-00 is a precision eddy-current proximity probe in the 3300 NSv series designed for non-contact measurement of shaft position and vibration in rotating machinery. It is part
of the 3300 XL/NSv Proximity Transducer System, a widely used industry standard for high-speed machinery condition monitoring and protection in turbines, compressors, generators, pumps and
other industrial equipment. These sensors convert variations in distance between the probe tip and a metallic target (such as a rotating shaft) into an electrical signal that can be interpreted
by the monitoring system to track radial displacement, vibration, rotational speed (Keyphasor), and position. The NSv series improves chemical
resistance and side-view characteristics compared to legacy probes.
