Q2. How does eddy‑current sensing work?
A: The probe emits an electromagnetic field at the tip that induces currents (eddy currents) in a nearby conductive target. Changes in target

distance alter the eddy currents, producing a signal proportional to the gap. That signal is processed by a Proximitor

 sensor and used for vibration/displacement analysis.
