1. What is this proximity probe used for?

It’s designed to provide non‑contact measurement of shaft vibration and radial displacement in rotating machinery. The high‑precision

eddy‑current sensor detects changes in gap between the probe tip and a conductive target (like a shaft),

producing a raw signal that is then conditioned by a Proximitor sensor.

2. What technology does this probe use?

It uses eddy‑current proximity sensing, where an alternating electromagnetic field around the probe interacts

with a nearby metallic target, and changes in that field indicate distance or vibration.

3. What type of connector and cable does it have?

It has a Miniature coaxial ClickLoc™ connector with a 75 Ω triaxial cable, which mates

 securely with extension cables and the Proximitor sensor.
