The housing also allows technicians to adjust the probe’s gap or replace it without disassembling the machine.

A: In the 31000 series:

• 29 — 3300 XL 8 mm probe with connector protector

• 05 — 0.5 m (20 in) probe cable

• 15 — 1.5 in standoff adapter (to set distance from machine wall)

• 033 — Probe penetration length (nominal value)

• 03 — Fittings kit included (e.g., NPT reducers, plugs, seal grips)

• 02 — Standard 3/4‑14 NPT mounting thread for installation.

Q3 — What sensors work with this housing?
A: It is designed to accept 3300 XL series proximity probes — the commonly used sensors for non‑contact shaft vibration/position measurement.
