Q1 — What type of sensor is this?
A: It’s a non‑contact eddy‑current proximity/vibration probe that produces an analog output proportional to the gap between the sensor tip and a metal surface (such as a rotating shaft).

Q2 — How is this probe installed?
A: The threaded body (typically M10×1) is secured into a probe housing or mount on the machine casing so that the tip

 faces the shaft target at the correct gap. It then connects to an extension cable and Proximitor

sensor for conditioning and signal processing.

Q3 — Does this probe include signal conditioning electronics?
A: No — it is just the sensor/transducer element. You must pair it with a 3300 Series Proximitor

sensor and appropriate extension cable and protection/monitoring electronics.
