Bently Nevada uses a structured part numbering convention where each group (like 16, 21, 10, 01, 05) describes attributes such as model family, cable length,

 cable type, connector configuration, and certification/approval options. This helps ensure the cable matches the probe and sensor used

 in your machinery monitoring system. (Exact decoding requires the manufacturer’s part number guide.)

Q2. Can I use this cable with any vibration probe?
Generally, extension cables must be matched to the same series (e.g., 3300 or 3300 XL) as the probe and Proximitor sensor.

Mismatched cable types can introduce signal issues and reduce monitoring accuracy.

Q3. How long can these cables be?

Extension lengths vary (often from a few meters up to ~10 m or more). The precise length and 

construction are encoded in the suffix codes of the part number.
