Yes — when ordered with the appropriate options (such as CSA-approved explosion-proof fittings and a certified probe), the 21000

series housing is CSA explosion-proof rated, suitable for use in hazardous classified areas (e.g., Class I Div 1 & 2).

3. What does the part number mean (specifically the “064-01-02”)?

• 064: Probe penetration length of ~6.4 inches — how far the probe extends through the housing to reach the target measurement location.

• 01: Includes one explosion-proof fitting and one plug in the housing.

• 02: Mounting thread option — 3/4-14 NPT for secure installation and conduit routing.
