Because accelerometer signals are highly sensitive to Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) from nearby variable frequency drives (VFDs), the internal drain wire must be grounded strictly at the monitor panel or junction box shield terminal. Do not ground it at both ends, as this creates a ground loop that introduces false vibration spikes into your plant's DCS."
