The IS200EISBH1A is a GE printed circuit board that fits into the Mark VI series. Designed for gas and steam turbine management, the Mark VI is part of the Speedtronic line from GE. The Mark VI is built around a 13- or 21- slot VME card rack Control Module. This control module is used for control, monitoring, and protection functions. Some of these applications require backup protection.

The IS200EISBH1A is built as an Exciter ISBus card. This is a communication interface board for the M1, M2/C controllers. It provides communication between three DSPX boards that are placed (one each) in M1, M2, and C. This is a single-slot, 3U high module. It receives and transmits feedback signals through its backplane connectors.

The IS200EISBH1A is built with a faceplate that carries several components. This faceplate includes the manufacturer’s logo, the board id number, and an opening to reach a reset switch located on the surface of the circuit board. There are also six openings that are populated by the following fiber optic connectors: under Gen Field, both voltage and current; under Exciter, both voltage and current; under Gnd Detect, in and out.
