Product Description

860MHz~960Mhz UHF Embedded RFID Reader Middle Range Reader Module for Book Sorter

RFID uses radio waves produced by a reader to detect the presence of (then read the data stored on) an RFID tag. Tags are embedded in small items like cards, buttons, or tiny capsules. These readers also use radio waves in some systems to write new information to the tags. The RFID reader is a network-connected device that can be portable or permanently attached. It uses radio waves to transmit signals that activate the tag. Once activated, the tag sends a wave back to the antenna, where it is translated into data. The transponder is in the RFID tag itself. It supports electronic tags conforming to ISO 18000-6C/EPCglobal Gen2 standard, adopts fast anti-collision processing algorithm, has high sensitivity reading and writing performance, and has an antenna interface that can be connected to the antenna for use.

Product Application:

It is widely used in RFID book self-service equipment, handheld devices, desktop tablet all-in-one machines.

RFID tags typically do not have a battery (unless specified as Active or BAP tags); instead, they receive energy from the radio waves generated by the reader. When the tag receives the transmission from the reader/antenna, the energy runs through the internal antenna to the tag's chip.An RFID system consists of a tiny radio transponder, a radio receiver and transmitter. When triggered by an electromagnetic interrogation pulse from a nearby RFID reader device, the tag transmits digital data, usually an identifying inventory number, back to the reader. This number can be used to track inventory goods.
