Operation (Pressurising)

Close the pressure release valve. Operate the pump lever until the desired hydraulic pressure has been achieved. The pressure is indicated on the integral pressure gauge.

Operation (De-Pressurising)

Slowly open the pressure release valve and observe the pressure gauge to make sure the pressure has fallen to zero pressure before disconnecting the hoses or tools. Make sure the pump oil reservoir does not become overfilled when releasing pressure.

Operation (Adjusting the pressure)

You can stop releasing the pressure at any time by closing the pressure release valve. The pressure release valve is designed to allow controlled lowering of the pressure. If the pressure falls to far, close the pressure release valve and operate the pump lever again until the correct pressure is indicated on the integral pressure gauge.

Maintenance

To ensure reliable operation and long life it is important to carry out maintenance at set intervals. Follow these simple rules :

Clean the pump before returning to storage

Lubricate the moving parts
Check there are no external hydraulic oil leaks
Check for external damage to the pump
