E27 Lampholder Gauges | "GO" Gauge For Lampholder E27 | 7006-25A-2
Precision testing gauge designed for comprehensive quality control of E27 lampholders, ensuring mechanical compatibility and dimensional accuracy.
Purpose and Applications
- Verify minimum dimensions of lampholder screw thread according to sheets 7004-21 and 7004-27
- Check dimension X as specified in sheet 7005-20
- Test mechanical compatibility with lamps having adverse dimensions
Testing Procedure
- Screw the threaded gauge into the lampholder without using undue force
- When fully screwed in, mark Y on the plunger must be co-planar with mark A on the shaft
- Place sleeve over the gauge shaft with open end resting on top edge of screw shell
- Push plunger down fully with sleeve in position
- Surface B must lie between marks X1 and X2 or be co-planar with either mark
