Purpose:
to detect the existance of cutting-edges on side-contact in E27 lamp holder.
Testing:
the gauge is screwed home in the lampholder as far as it will go. The combination is then placed with the plunger of the gauge in a horizontal position and the plunger-face is held against the helder contacts.
In this position it shall be possible to rotate the plunger in a clockwise and an anti-clockwise direction for at least an angle of 60° in both directions.
After this test the combination is placed with the plunger in a vertical position and the plunger-face is pressed against the holder contacts with a total force of 10N.
In this position it shall be possible to rotate the plunger in a clockwise and an anti-clockwise direction for at least an angle of 60° in both directions.
The lampholder complies if the torque applied for both tests does not exceed 0.4Nm.
